Describing Charecters

By Rhian Le page , year 8, St Sampson’s School

One day on a dark, gloomy street lived a girl and a boy. The girl had thick, knotted blonde hair and always had it in plaits. Her name was Lily. Lily always wore bright clothes with ribbons on and was always happy whatever the weather.
The boy called Connor had dark brown hair that was really short and always had it spiked up. He wore shorts whatever the weather and a short sleeved t-shirt. He was always very moody and bossy. They lived in a small dirty cottage with a big garden and loads of pets.
One day they went for a little stroll at the park but as they were walking along Lily saw something shining in the grass so she ran as fast as a cheetah to see what it was. She was shocked to find a gold ring and necklace glittering as the sun shone over them.
"What have you found?" said Conner
"I found a really pretty gold necklace and ring!" said Lily.
Connor ran as fast as his little legs could carry him over to Lily and the jewellery she found.
"Wow!" said Connor in amazement.
Lily picked it up in her little hands and put it in her pocket to keep it safe. They quickly ran home as fast as they could and as they got home she took it out of her pocket to find it had their Grandmother's name on it, 'Catherine Walison'. She tried it on to see if it would fit and it did.
"It looks amazing!" said Connor.
"Thanks," said Lily proudly.
From that day she always wore the glittery gold necklace and ring.
